FAULT/32 calculates fault currents and their distribution in radial or fully meshed networks, together with the corresponding network voltages.

Fault types calculated are:

• Single-line to ground
• Line to Line
• Line to Line and Ground
• Three-Phase

FAULT/32 is used to:

• determine ratings of conductors and equipment to withstand possible fault currents levels
• assess currents for design of grounding systems
• provide fault current data for design protection systems and determining protection system  settings

An enhancement of FAULT/32 is available as DataShare's RELCORD/32 (Integrated Protection Coordination and Fault Calculation software.
It has all the features of FAULT/32 with the added capability to perform protection coordination studies.
