RELCORD32
integrates Protection Coordination features to the Fault Calculation
capabilities of DataShare's FAULT/32 software.
It
can complete 80-90% of the laborious and time-consuming work of
highly skilled protection personnel.
Because
it integrates protection device data (over-current and ground-fault
relays, automatic circuit relcosers, circuit-breakers, fuses,
etc.) with the underlying network data, RELCORD32 can actually
suggest setting for protection devices to achieve discrimination
times between devices specified by the user! |

RELCORD32
can:
Calculate
current settings for defined maximum load currents - or out-of-balance
currents, in the case of ground-fault protection.
Determine
time settings to achieve user-defined discrimination times between
pairs of protection devices
Coordinate
relays, fuses, circuit breakers, recloser, etc.
Plot
time-current characteristics on screen and output the curves to
any printer, plotter, etc.
Reveal
inadequacy of proposed settings for changes in operating conditions
of the network (eg. fault levels of sources, equipment out of service,
paralleled branches, etc.)
Report
the operating time, if any, for any protection device modelled
in the system for any type of fault, anywhere on
the network, for any operating condition of the network
Calculate
and report test points for primary and secondary injection testing.
